U10 AJIS Rugby Festival
On Monday 13 November, KGJS U10 Boys played in the AJIS Rugby Festival at Merchant Taylors’ School, Crosby. The squad played four matches against Merchant Taylors’ A and B, Birkenhead School and Newcastle Under Lyne. All the boys played well, drawing one and losing just one match. Well done to all who took part.
U8 and U9 KGJS Rugby vs Sedbergh
The U8s and U9s took part in a Rugby Festival held at Sedbergh Prep. The U8s played 5 games in total and won all 5. The teams were represented by William Thompson, Freddie Wiltshire, Jack Gillett, Sebastain Clark, Leo Paraskeva , Sam Smith and Ellis McNamee-Sloggett. All boys displayed great potential for the future!
The U9s played 6 games in total – winning 3 and losing 3. All boys developed their skills throughout the afternoon and played really well. The U9s were represented by Henry , Bertie , Jack , Tom Oliver , Alex , Oliver and Ethan . Thank you to Sedbergh for organising an excellent afternoon of rugby.
