This morning, KGS First Year pupils enjoyed a visit from ZooLab. They learned about classification and how and why we group animals. The hands-on, animal handling workshop brought the pupils face to face with the topic and introduced them to ‘ZooLab’ animals that included a selection of vertebrates and invertebrates; a Giant African Land Snail, a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, a Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula, a Corn Snake and an Albino Rat!
