Congratulations to Kirkham Grammar Junior School J4 pupils, Alice Bunday, Emily Greenwood, Alex Fuller and Bertie Jones who have qualified for the U13 Lancashire Academy Squad after various assessment days and are now looking forward to the County Tournaments in the New Year.

On Monday 9 December, twenty members of Kirkham U11s Indoor Athletics team travelled to Lytham YMCA to compete against Lytham Athletic Club. The event involved: Team speed bounce, long jump, triple jump, vertical jump, javelin, sprint races and relays and obstacle relays. After an hour of action-packed athletics, the honours were shared: Kirkham won the girls and Lytham won the boys. Many thanks to all the parents who came to support and made for an enjoyable evening of athletics.
