Yesterday, the KGS tennis team hosted Alderley Edge School for Girls' in the semi-final of the Aberdare Cup. The girls took to the courts at Broughton Tennis Club starting with four lots of singles matches.
Peet and Tinsley finished their 2 set matches first taking both sets in succession. Loggenberg finished just after with 6-1, 6-0 victory with Shek bringing in the final singles result with a 6-2, 6-0 victory.
Onto the doubles rubbers, and it wasn't long before KGS took total control of both matches. Shek and Peet finished up with a 6-1 victory with Tinsley and Loggenberg following suit at 6-1 also.
A great victory which leads the team into the final of the North competition. Well done, girls!
