KGS Third Year pupil, Freya, played in her first national tournament on grass last week and qualified for the last 16. As a result, the LTA awarded Freya a wild card into the Tennis Europe Grade 1 International Grass Tournament which starts today at The National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.
The winner and runner up of the tournament will be awarded a place in the Wimbledon U14 Invitational International Tournament, to be played at the end of this month/beginning of July during the 2022 Wimbledon Championships.
This is an amazing opportunity for Freya to play in her first Grade 1 International event and we wish her all the very best for the tournament.
