Kirkham Grammar School Junior and Infant pupils and staff excitedly vacated the KGS building on the morning of Wednesday 13 December for a magnificent trip to The Lowther Pavilion Theatre.
This annual visit to the panto is always a particular highlight for the young and old alike, and Jack and the Beanstalk did not fail to deliver. Jack showed tremendous courage whilst slaying the evil giant, Blunderbore, voiced by Brian Blessed. There were laughs aplenty, and, as advertised, there were giant helpings of Fee-Fi-Fo-Fun! We experienced some particularly commanding and engaging performances from Dame Dotty Trot, Silly Simon and Fleshcreep.
It was a superb way to celebrate a very busy and productive term; the pupils and staff all left in high and festive spirits and cannot wait to see what next year has in store.
A wonderful time was had by all!
