KGS welcomed Mr David Potter, a Lecturer in Finance from Wrexham University to host a workshop with our Year 10 students. The students, who are new to business studies, were split into teams and asked to come up with a new idea for an existing product. The teams worked well throughout the morning identifying strengths within their group and developing transferable skills. All teams delivered confident pitches to the panel of judges. There were certainly some innovative and more importantly, commercial ideas!
The winning team came up with the idea of ‘Medi-tie’ and each member went away with a ‘bag of goodies’ including a £10 Amazon voucher. You never know you may be seeing them on Dragons Den in years to come!!
