In their last Biology lesson, Kirkham Grammar School Second Year pupils carried out a practical experiment which saw them work together in teams, recording how their breathing changed as they ran up and down steps for two minutes.Following on from this, today, the pupils have been learning about gas exchange and the delivery of oxygen from the lungs to the bloodstream, and the elimination of carbon dioxide from the bloodstream to the lungs.
