Kirkham Grammar Junior School hosted a surprise picnic party for Mrs Roberts on the school field on Thursday afternoon. After being escorted to her ‘throne’, Mrs Roberts then watched the children enjoy being entertained by Twisty Paul who got the party going with his mix of tricks and dancing. While refreshments were served, Ms Charlese Allen sang a number of popular songs, accompanied by Mr Tom Vernon on the guitar. A large group of parents then joined the party to present Mrs Roberts with their gift. She was blown away by the beautiful piece of artwork created by the children and staff, along with a book made up of messages from the children and vouchers. It was a lovely afternoon, enjoyed by all.
